CONNECTED HEALTH EXPANDS

Connected Health, a technology supported home care Company based in Belfast, Northern Ireland; has opened its first office in Liverpool. The new base in Merseyside will allow for growth and development of their integrated home care and innovation offer across the North of England in 2018.

Connected Health has also appointed Professor George Crooks OBE as Chairman of their newly established Clinical and Social Care Governance Board.

The Clinical and Social Care Governance Board will ensure that the service Connected Health delivers not only meets but exceeds the Quality Standards for Health and Social Care. The standards are;

  • Corporate Leadership and Accountability
  • Safe and Effective Care
  • Accessible Flexible Responsive Services
  • Promoting, Protecting and Improving Health and Social Care
  • Effective Communication and Information

Prof George Crooks OBE brings a wealth of experience having held the role of Medical Director for NHS 24 in Scotland. He is also the Chairman of Scotland’s Digital Health and Care Innovation Centre. He leads the Integrated Care Action Group of the European Innovation Partnership for Active and Healthy Ageing. He is on the Board of the European Connected  Health Alliance, EHTEL and the European Critical Care Foundation. He was awarded an OBE in the Queens New Year Honors List in 2011 for services to healthcare.
